Info session on labour market and inclusion (in collaboration with VOKA, for Limburg employers)
A well-developed economic migration policy is essential for a small, open economy like Flanders and Limburg. In addition to meeting European obligations, Flanders must proactively attract and retain international talent. Countries like Canada and Australia are already making significant progress in recruiting specific skill sets. Housing has been identified as a crucial factor for successful labor migration.
However, international recruitment presents challenges for many companies. How do you get started? During this session, we will explore several key topics with different speakers:
- Presenting the Voka Guide “Getting Started with Labor Migration,” a practical resource to help companies attract international talent.
- Highlighting the services of the Expat Centre, which offers essential information and tailored advice for economic migrants and their families, particularly regarding practical matters such as health insurance.
- Discussing the importance of inclusion and why companies should invest in it
Who Should Attend?
This session (in Dutch) is aimed at HR managers, business leaders, and anyone involved in workforce planning and recruitment—whether you’re just beginning to explore international recruitment or already have experience with business activities in Limburg.
